Copyright & Takedown Policy

1. Who we are

banlisto is an unofficial, fan-made third-party tool for the ONE PIECE CARD GAME. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bandai. ONE PIECE CARD GAME, all card names, card text and card images are © Eiichiro Oda / Shueisha / Toei Animation / Bandai and remain the property of their respective owners. We are a price and collection tracker: we publish prices, card data and legality information, and we take copyright seriously.

2. How card images are served

We do not host card images. Card images shown on banlisto are served directly from a third-party CDN (tcgplayer-cdn.tcgplayer.com) and are merely referenced by our pages. We do not modify, re-encode, watermark or redistribute them, and we do not offer any bulk-download surface: there is no image archive, no zip, no CSV of image URLs, and our sitemaps contain no image extensions. Our image layer is separable from our data layer — it can be switched off entirely, in which case banlisto continues to work with card names, card numbers, prices and legality only.

3. Contact

Send copyright complaints and takedown requests to copyright@banlisto.com. This address exists specifically for legal notices and is monitored separately from general support (support@banlisto.com).

4. What to include in a notice

To let us act quickly, a notice should include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. The exact URL(s) on banlisto.com where the material appears.
  4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

If a notice is incomplete, we reply within 24 hours telling you which item is missing. The response window restarts from the moment we receive the complete notice.

5. Our response commitment

We acknowledge every complete notice within 24 hours of receipt. Where the material is hosted or generated by us, we remove or disable access to it within 24 hours of that acknowledgement. Where the material is served from a third-party CDN and merely referenced by us, we remove the reference within the same window and tell you who the host is.

Please note that notices submitted in bad faith are not without consequence: under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages. We answer every notice, but we do not remove material on the basis of a notice we believe to be abusive.

6. Counter-notification

If we removed content that banlisto itself generated or that you submitted (for example a public profile text or a saved deck snapshot) and you believe the removal was a mistake, send a counter-notification to copyright@banlisto.com containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the removed material and the URL where it appeared.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was the result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you reside.

Procedure: we forward your counter-notification to the original complainant within 24 hours. If the complainant does not notify us within 10 business days that they have filed an action seeking a court order, we restore the material.

7. Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. A user who is the subject of repeated valid notices will have their account suspended and, on a further valid notice, permanently closed. Accounts closed for this reason are not eligible for a refund of an unused subscription period.

8. Personal data in tournament results

Some pages may show tournament results that include a player name. A request to remove a player name is a personal-data request, not a copyright one — but we treat it with the same urgency. Write to copyright@banlisto.com or support@banlisto.com and we will remove the name from the stored result within 24 hours; the deck list and placement stay, anonymised.
